LIQUIDATION SALE

We are still here until through Dec. 19th

We still have plenty of paper and embellishments left, so come in and take advantage of the discounts! We also have lots of paper racks and fixtures for slatwall or pegboard—perfect for your personal craft room. The “short” paper racks have 30 slots (2 columns of 15), the dimensions are 34 ½ inches high, 27 inches wide, and 13 deep—perfect to fit in a closet or up against a wall, or on a table. There a few tall white wire or wood paper racks also available—about 5 ft. tall and 13-14 inches wide and deep. There are wire “baskets”, long and short, perfect for holding spools of ribbon. We even have some wire fixtures that would hold most of your favorite magazines and idea books!

The AccuCut Mark IV machine as well as some alphabet sets and single dies are still available. If you know of a church or school that might be interested—let them know. I have these priced at half of what I paid for them!

We are having a few last crops on Saturday, Nov. 21st and Saturday, Dec. 5th

The workroom is still open during normal business hours for your use.

Whatever is left I will pack up and sell online (or maybe I will be bored with retirement and decide to open a store again in the future!)

A Bittersweet Farewell

With a landslide of conflicting emotions, we have decided to close the doors at Scrapbook Central. Our last three years doing business in the scrapbook industry have been fun and challenging. Many of you know that my husband has been in Iraq this past year and will be retiring at the end of the year. Our lease is also up at the end of the year, and we decided that it was time for some new adventures in our lives. Thanks to all of you for your support and patronage!

LIQUIDATION SALE

Starting Monday, October 26th. Hours as usual: Monday through Saturday from 10 am until 6 pm. We will start the sale at 25% off and work our way up.

EVERYTHING, including all fixtures, tables and workroom tools with be for sale starting next Monday.

Bring your unwanted or broken gold or platinum jewelry, have it tested and weighed and WE PAY YOU!

How does this work?

· One person at a time sits with the jewelry buyer as their jewelry is assessed.

· Each piece is tested for gold purity.

· The metals buyer makes a bid based on the fineness of the gold, and its weight.

· If you accept the bid, you are paid by check right then.

The assessment takes only about 10 minutes. Even a few pieces could be worth a lot. The buyer told me she wrote a check for a couple hundred to a person who only had 3 pieces!

If wanting to keep gems, please have precious stones removed prior to presenting to buyer.

“All About Me”

Do you shy away from creating “All About Me” pages? Most of us do. We are so busy recording the events of our everyday lives that we often forget our legacy is an integral part of why we scrapbook in the first place. Scrapbook Central has teamed with Basic Grey to provide a year’s worth (12) double page layouts all about you!

Lynn is back teaching this class featuring at least one technique and an interesting use of Basic Grey products.

This month’s class, as usual, is already sold out, but we will have printed instructions and materials for you to purchase. Substitutions may be necessary for some embellishments that we are unable to re-order any more.

In honor of National Scrapbook Day, we're switching things up a bit and we're making our workroom FREE for EVERYONE for the entire day!

Join us on Saturday, May 2nd from 10 am until 6 pm and crop the day away with friends. First come, first seated. Tables may need to be shared. Come for an hour or two or stay all day. We will not be serving any food, but feel free to bring your own.

As a special treat, Scrapbook Central will be offering a huge 20% off of the total product that you purchase while cropping in our workroom (please, no Memory Cash).

Each double-page layout features at least one technique and an interesting use of Basic Grey products along with a variety of photo sizes.

Open House - Wedding Exhibit will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2009 from 10 am until 4 pm. If you or someone you know is getting married, you don't want to miss this opportunity to see these one of a kind items!

Speaking of Christmas - the new Christmas release of Basic Grey, "Wassail" is due any day now!

Don't forget about the marvelous Debby Schuh's Christmas classes on Wednesday, November 12th. Debby is a designer for many companies including Anna Griffin and Autumn Leaves and is teaching 2 classes: “Wonderful Things” mini album from 5 – 7 pm and “Christmas Memories” from 7:30 – 9:30 pm. Check out her blog (just Google her name). Each class is $45 and space is limited so hurry and sign up soon! Don't let the class fee deter you, each class comes with enough retail product that is equal or greater to the class fee. You will have plenty of extras to play with as well as a great gift for you or for someone else!

December crops are still being worked out, however we would like to try to have a PJ Crop sometime either before New Year's or directly after. We were aiming for Friday, January 2nd from 6 pm to 6 am. PJ's would be preferred, fuzzy slippers optional - and a good time for all guaranteed! For this PJ crop, we would need at least 10 people to hold it and the cost would be $20 per person with 1 meal and snacks/drinks included.

All crops are from 6 pm until 12 am - we're giving you an extra hour for the same low price of $5.00 per cropper! We do ask that you sign up in advance as these crops do fill up quickly. Payment is also due at the time of sign up. We gladly accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover over the phone or another form of payment in person. We do need a minimum of 5 people to hold a crop and you will be guaranteed your own table! Food and beverages are not included, but are allowed in the crop room.

Croppers also get to take advantage of our new Pazzles machine - a fancy computerized die-cutting machine that is especially useful for the welding of those scripty fonts together, however we also have plenty of shape die-cuts as well. The AccuCut machine is also available free of charge for our croppers to use while they are in the workroom.
